“Bedaya” successfully organises “Souq Maqtoura” program In collaboration with Aspire

Doha, Qatar (WQ):  Bedaya Center for Entrepreneurship and Career Development (Bedaya Center), a joint initiative by Qatar Development Bank and Silatech, recently organised the “Souq Maqtoura” program, the First rotating market to support entrepreneurs. This was held for the first time in collaboration with “Aspire” from 12 to 14 May 2016.

The “Souq Maqtoura” program is the first-of-its-kind, designated for Qatari youth owning virtual companies on social platforms, specifically in the SME field. About 40 Qatari youth participated in the first episode of the program and experienced life in a booth for the first time.

The main objective of the program was to support the youth in showcasing their projects and products and move them to a real display area rather than highlighting them on social media platforms only. This concept met with great success and appreciation from both exhibitors as well as visitors.
