Doha, Qatar – 13 March 2016: International Bank of Qatar (ibq) has confirmed sponsorship of this year’s Gala Dinner during the prestigious MEED Qatar Projects Conference. To be held at The St. Regis Hotel Doha from March 15 – 16, 2016, the conference will detail the plan to deliver Qatar’s National Vision 2030. This annual event will also offer an excellent opportunity to gain first hand insights on Qatar, its fundamentals, drivers, projects and business opportunities.

Hosted by ibq again this year, the Gala Dinner will witness the Qatar Leadership Award 2016 being presented to the organisation that has made an outstanding contribution to the development of Qatar.

Prestigious keynote speakers at the event will include Minister of Economy and Commerce, H E Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim Al Thani together with Eng Nasser bin Ali Al Mawlawi, President of Ashghal. Other speakers include Saud Abdullah Al Attiyah, Director of Economic Policies and Research Department at the Ministry of Economy and Commerce in Qatar, Ahmed Nassar Al Kowsi, logistics Director and Kaldoon Truman, Senior Director of Contracts and Procurement both from Qatar Rail.

Muhannad Kamal, Deputy CEO at ibq will highlight the rapidly expanding growth opportunities in contracting and project finance during the panel discussion.
