Meteorology department warns of thundery rain, strong wind

Doha: Weather inshore until 6pm on Tuesday will be hazy at first at places and chance of local clouds with scattered rain maybe thundery at places by afternoon, humid by night, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report, warning of chance for thundery rain with sudden strong wind.

Offshore, it will be hazy, the report said.

Wind inshore will be northwesterly to northeasterly 05 to 15 knot, reaching 25 knot with thundery rain, offshore it will be northeasterly to northwesterly at 03 to 12 knot.

Visibility will be 4 to 8 kilometers and 3 kilometers or less at places at first.

Sea state inshore will be 1 to 2 feet, while offshore it will be 1 to 3 feet.
