Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al Thani visited College of Medicine at Qatar University on Tuesday,.
At the University, he was introduced to its latest equipment and facilities. He also listened to a detailed explanationabout its programmes and specialtiesthat serve the healthcare sector in the country.
The prime minister praised the efforts of Qatar University in expanding its programmes and specialties in line with the aspirations of Qatar and responding to its needs, especially in the vital sectors, including the health sector.
He praised the advanced level of the programs of the College of Medicine and its scientific achievements, despite the College’s short life, calling for exerting more efforts to achieve the aspirations of the State to support and strengthen the health sector with qualified national cadres t0 achieve Qatar National Vision 2030.
The prime minister was accompanied by a number of ministers, the Dean and members of the college.
