Qatar ranks second in international holy qur’an competition

Doha, December 30 (QNA) -The State of Qatar has come at second place in the 10th King Mohammed VI International Award for Recitation, Memorization and interpretation of the Holy Qur’an, which was held in Morocco.

The Qatari contester Youssuf Ahmed Youssuf Asheer, from the Holy Quran and its Sciences and Islamic Dawah and Guidance Department, has ranked second in the contest in which 50 contesters from 37 Arab and Muslim countries took part, said the ministry of Awqaf in a press statement.
