Mondrian Hotel pushes back Qatar opening to September 2015

The opening of the first Mondrian Hotel in the Gulf has again been delayed, with a new launch date set for the fall of this year, according to industry media reports.

That’s about six months later than the latest anticipated opening date of the first quarter of this year, a deadline that has already passed.

Specialist website Hotelier Middle East quoted Jason Kalisman, interim CEO of the operating company Morgans Hotel Group, as confirming the revised launch.

This is the latest in a series of set-backs for the hotel, which is situated next to Zig-Zag towers near Lagoona Mall.
