Oryx Rotana to turn up the heat at Qatar International Food Festival

Doha, Qatar: For the sixth consecutive year, Oryx Rotana, the five star luxury business hotel in Doha, will be participating at Qatar International Food Festival (QIFF). Organised by Qatar Tourism Authority, this culinary event is scheduled to be held from March 22nd – 28th 2016, and will host live cookery demonstrations and multiple culinary activities as well as entertainments for foodies and restaurant-lovers of all ages.

This year, the Oryx Rotana booth will be located at the Museum of Islamic Art’s park in the Hotel’s zone (Zone 4), where a variety of dishes from several cuisines will be on display at promotional prices. This is aimed at providing an opportunity for visitors to taste delicious food and beverages prepared by international chefs at the hotel. Additionally, Oryx Rotana Doha will organise social media competition for guests.

On this occasion, Lana Jwainat, Cluster Director of Marketing and Communications at Oryx Rotana and Rotana City Center, said: “We are delighted to be a part of the Qatar International Food Festival for six years in a row. Since the inception of this festival, we have made sure to be a part of it due to its cultural and social importance. Events like this help promote and shed light on the various types of food and its importance of food throughout the course of history, various cultures and civilisations from around the globe.”

“During the last year’s version of QIFF, Oryx Rotana’s booth represented “The Cellar” restaurant and witnessed a large turnout of audience. This year Oryx Rotana is participating under the “Choices” restaurant, which has a great appeal and satisfaction among the hotel’s guests and visitors because of the cultural diversity existing in its menu. This year, we also seek to provide a unique experience with the presence of seven global kitchens distributed throughout the week at “Choices” restaurant, alongside the Friday brunch. This will offer an opportunity to all QIFF audience to taste the most delicious and tastiest dishes from different countries, cuisines and cultures,” she added.
