Doha, Qatar – August 2016:  Oryx Rotana, the five-star luxury business hotel in Doha, recently organised a blood donation campaign in collaboration with Hamad Medical Corporation for colleagues, guests and visitors.

Hosting this initiative comes under Oryx Rotana’s continuous ingenuity to support the local community. This is an annual event that coincides with the hotel’s ongoing philanthropic activities.

On this occasion, Lana Jwainat, Director of Marketing and Communications at Oryx Rotana said:

“We always strive to host an annual blood donation campaign in collaboration with the Blood Bank at Hamad Medical Corporation. This initiative comes in the context of building a closer relationship with the local community, and also provides an opportunity for our colleagues, guests and visitors to engage in this campaign.”

Therefore this campaign cements our responsibility towards the community, and the proof lies in the increased number of donors and blood units year after year,” she concluded.
