(SS29) Interface Manager – Real Estate

Salary: QAR 55,000 Per Month (+ Schooling + Return Flights + 40 days leave ++ )
Job purpose:
To monitor, support, coordinate and influence all technical third party delivery activities related to the Real Estate projects for the client including, where required, oversight of third party stakeholder delivered; design and engineering; procurement; construction and development; commissioning and closeout; operations and ensuring that the clients associated requirements and interests are maintained throughout the lifecycle of the Technical Programme.
The Interface Manager will also support the Senior Manager in ensuring that the development of the Real Estate projects is in-line with the clients Technical Programme and overall strategy.

Key responsibilities and key result areas:
• Assist the Senior Manager in developing and implementing the project strategy and code that includes best practice standards for the client
• Assist the Senior Manager in the development of the integrated project master plan for the Technical Programme; in collaboration and coordination with key stakeholders
• Assist the Senior Manager in the development and/or alignment of the strategic business case for project
• Support and guide the delivery of the projects from inception (strategic business case) to completion, handover and operations in accordance with all policies, procedures, guidance, and governance
• Support and guide the delivery of the projects to the agreed, scope, time, quality, cost, environmental and safety
• Provide guidance and support to the design and approval of the projects throughout the pre-contract phase of the development ensuring compliance with all client requirements
• Monitor the performance of the projects and influence delivery to ensure that all requirements for these venues are met
• Support the development, implementation, management and maintenance of an integrated risk, early warning, change management system and tools for Real Estate projects
• Management and professional support of the Temporary Accommodation staff
• Identify staffing requirements to meet the Section’s needs and goals in coordination with the Senior Manager including the development of manpower plans for the Division and succession planning for key positions
• Provide professional development and perform periodic performance appraisals for the team (in coordination with the Senior Manager and HR & Administration function where required)
• Ensure that the team acquires the required skills and knowledge through appropriate training programs in coordination with the Senior Manager and HR & Administration function
• Review progress of the team against KPIs and objectives on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Recommend improvement s and efficiencies in line with business priorities

Education and certifications:
• Bachelor of Engineering, Science or relevant degree related to project management and / or construction is required. An MBA, Master of Engineering, Master of Science or other relevant postgraduate qualification would be an advantage
• MRICS, PMP, PgMP or equivalent certification is preferred but not mandatory

• Minimum 10 years of relevant project/development management experience, with at least 2 years in a senior supervisory or managerial role
•Experience in preparing property development appraisals and business cases
• Extensive experience in large group accommodation and/or hospitality planning and execution
• Extensive experience in efficient and effective operational planning of residential or hotel accommodation including large scale dining, housekeeping, entertainment and transport
• Experience of working in the region and knowledge of local culture will be an added benefit
