Texas A&M University at Qatar (Tamuq) will accept applications for the fall 2020 semester for freshman until March 1, it was announced yesterday.
Texas A&M commands an international reputation as one of the world’s premier engineering programmes, and Tamuq builds on it.
Students at Tamuq receive the same top-tier education as students enrolled at the main campus.
The branch campus offers training and advanced accredited programmes in chemical engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and petroleum engineering that rank among the top American universities for education and research.
Interested students may visit the Tamuq Engineering Building in Education City and meet with staff members in the Office of Admissions.
Admissions officers and advisers are available to meet students and explain application requirements and the admissions process every Sunday through Thursday from 8am to 4pm.
Maha Ayyash, director of admissions Tamuq, said: “I encourage students who are strong in academics and are willing to thrive in a university that offers world-renowned engineering programmes to consider applying to Tamuq.”
