Qatar’s World Cup 2022 stadiums Al Wakrah and Al Khor have been listed among top 10 stadiums having the world’s “craziest” roofs.

They were recently shortlisted by US-based tech publication Wired.

Qatar is planning to build some of the world’s most striking stadiums for its 2022 World Cup.

Structures of note include the al-Bayt, whose dark fabric roof will resemble a bedouin tent, and Zaha Hadid Architects’ al-Wakrah Stadium, a fluid, interwoven steel form recalling the hull of an Arabian dhow ship.
