Stallions took two teams to UK – Under 14 and Under 11. Competing strongly against teams from UK, Qatar’s youngsters performed very well. The Doha Stallions under 14 Team also won the 6 side tournament played in London competing against 4 other London based teams.

As part of the tour the officials of the Stallions Cricket Academy incorporated a visit to the home of cricket, Lords, in order to build enthusiasm and awareness towards the history, traditions, and culture associated with the game. The Lords visit included a well-planned, individual indoor coaching session where players used the latest “Hawk Eye” technology, to develop their personal style and talent. This is the first time young players have been exposed to technology of this caliber. Qatar’s youthful players were also mentored by professional coaches from the MCC Cricket Academy.
