Teenager accused of Facebook attack ‘forced to flee home with family after angry mob arrive’

A teenager accused of attacking two schoolgirls in a video that has been viewed more than six million times on Facebook has been forced to flee her home, it has been claimed.

The 16-year-old schoolgirl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, and her family are alleged to have left their home after a gang of angry people turned up and sprayed insults on their home.

This morning, the home was defaced with black spray paint.

A neighbour of the alleged attacker and her family told The Sun: “A bunch of adults turned up and started spraying graffiti.

The neighbour claims he then saw the teenage girl and her mother leave the home with their belongings.

The news comes as the girl is set to appear in court today charged with attacking two schoolgirls in an incident filmed on a mobile phone and posted on Facebook.

She is charged with robbery and assault and is scheduled to appear at Birmingham Youth Court this morning.

According to the Birmingham Mail, she was remanded in custody after being arrested on Tuesday.
