Hello Ahmed, as per the Qatar Labour law regarding air tickets, labour law No. 14/2004 states that the employer is legally bind to return the worker to the place from where he was brought to Qatar, or to an agreed destination, at his expense within two weeks of the end of his services in the company.

If the employee has transferred sponsorship to another company then his new sponsor will be liable for returning him to home.

As per the law if the employer doesn’t return employee to his home country at his expense, the Ministry of Labour will take the steps for his return and company will be liable to pay for its expenses.

As far the leave is concerned after one continuous year in service you are entitled to an annual paid leave period of at least three weeks  as your service is less than five years, with more than five years of service employee is entitled to at least four weeks paid vacation.

As far as the last part of the question all employees who have completed more than one year of employment at an organisation is entitled to end of service benefits. This amount is equivalent to a 3-week wage computed on the last basic salary for every year of service completed.

Article 79 of the Labour Law:-

The worker who has completed one continuous year in the service of the employer shall be entitled to an annual leave with the pay provided for in Article (72) of this law. This leave shall not be less than three weeks for the worker whose service is less than five years and four weeks for the worker whose service is more than five years.

This amount will be due to you within 7 days of your last working day with the organisation.

In addition, the employer shall pay the end of service gratuity to the worker who has completed employment of one year or more

Gratuity=last basic salary X 70% (this is 21 days) X length of service in years
