Doha: Chairman of the National Human Rights Committee (NHRC) H E Dr. Ali bin Sumaikh Al Marri met here yesterday with Adviser of the Italian Prime Minister Franco Bassanini.
During the meeting, they discussed means of cooperation on issues of mutual concern and activating mechanisms for exchanging experiences and expertise in human rights issues.
The meeting was attended by Italian Ambassador to the State of Qatar Pasquale Salzano and former Vice President of the Italian Senate Linda Lanzillotta.
