The North Security Department arrested 15 people from one Asian country after they attempted to smuggle gold out of the country illegally by converting it into powder.
After completing the necessary procedures, the premises of the defendants in different regions were raided. Tools they used to convert gold into powder were seized along with cash and gold coins.
The relevant authorities in the Ministry of Interior appeal to the public to cooperate with the security agencies to reduce the crimes by reporting them immediately.
