Qatari, GCC citizens told to use passports

Starting today, all Qatari and GCC citizens must use their passports instead of ID cards when traveling to and from Qatar, the Government Communication Office (GCO) announced on Thursday.

GCO said the decision is in line with the efforts of Qatar to take all necessary preventive measures to limit the spread of the coronavirus (Covid 19).
