Spider tourist’s skin: Arachnid crawls through appendix scar, lives in stomach

An unusually determined spider crawled through a U.S. tourist’s skin during his trip to Bali this month, and in the process attempted to make the man’s belly his living space. Medical experts were shocked to learn that the eight-legged arachnid somehow managed to burrow its way through an Australian man’s scar from an old appendix surgery and directly into his stomach lining, leaving a new, red scar across the skin. News Max shares the details on this weird news story this Thursday, October 16, 2014, stating that the man had no idea the poisonous spider was inside him; it was only when the pain got so intense he went in for a check-up that he learned the frightening truth.
