Top 15 Hottest Players Currently in the WNBA

When considering the hottest female athletes in sports today, tennis and even soccer might be the first sports to come to mind. However, there happen to be some good looking ladies who make a living by playing in the WNBA. The sport might be dominated by women who have great size and above average strength, but off the court many of these woman are perfectly capable of letting their hair down to show their more feminine side. These women have to compete harder than most men to win roster spots in what is only a 12-team league, so it can often be hard to see more than their pure grit and determination.

Many of these players do not have the time or inclination to appear in magazine spreads or photo shoots, however, through social media and WNBA media days, it is easy to see how attractive they can be. One of the stars of the league, Lauren Jackson, has been good enough to draw attention from Sports Illustrated, while Skylar Diggins and Candace Parker have certainly spent plenty of time in front of a photographer’s lens. There was a time when ex-player Lisa Leslie was one of the WNBA’s biggest stars as well as one of the most beautiful women in all of sports, so it should come with no surprise that there are other players who are capable of being so photogenic. There might be some time before any of the league’s current crop of players receive the attention that Leslie has been able to receive, but it will certainly not hurt the sport if any of them can come pretty close.

The following is a list of the leagues 15 hottest current players that will give a good indication of the photogenic talent that exists. There might be more to add to this list, but there certainly is ample evidence to support the inclusion of these particular WNBA players on this esteemed list.

She has predominantly been a bench player throughout her career, but has still managed to average 5.0 points and 2.3 rebounds per game. Her contributions on the court might not measure up to many others on this list, but her racy photos on the internet go a long way to support her inclusion. Lacy has a pout and sultry look that complements her good body and above average looks. For all those men who might find her to be quite attractive, sorry to say that Lacy doesn’t exactly prefer men. In her first WNBA season in 2014, McBride averaged 13.0 points per game while shooting almost 40% from 3-point range and just under 85% from the free throw line. She started all 34 games for the San Antonio Stars and has been playing even more in 2015. This season, she has been averaging 14.0 points and 3.6 rebounds per game, an improvement over last year. Hill has had her struggles living up to her first round hype, but has still managed to average 6.1 points per game while making only seven WNBA starts. There is more time for Hill to improve with the Washington Mystics, but she can at least rest assured that she has plenty of game off the court. With her pretty smile and well proportioned frame, she knows how to work a camera and make fans forget about her lack of minutes played.

When Carter is off the court, she can let her long hair down, bringing more attention to her sincere brown eyes. 8. Jasmine Lister

Jasmine Lister is new to the WNBA but already seems to have the look that can help elevate the popularity of the women’s game. She is spunky and exceedingly cute with her hair straight or wavy with alluring curls. The Los Angeles Sparks guard just got called up for her shot to finally play in the league, hopping on a plane and leaving her role as a UConn assistant coach behind her for the time being. After playing 31 minutes in a game against the Connecticut Sun, Lister might not be leaving anytime soon. She is averaging 5.0 points per game, while averaging just 14 minutes of play so far this season. It might not be much, but Lister is sure to leave a lasting impression off the court. Whether her hair is up in the air, wavy or straight, it is hard to miss her sincere dark eyes. She is extremely photogenic, a Stanford graduate and even won three gold medals as a member of Team USA.

Jackson was the first overall pick in the 2001 WNBA Draft, and has been a seven time WNBA All-Star as well as a three time WNBA MVP. She has averaged over 20 points per game in a season in five different campaigns and over 9 rebounds per game three different years. Jackson has been a star in the league for all 12 seasons she has played. She might be a dominant player in the women’s game, but she is very capable at displaying her delicate features off the court. Jackson is no stranger to looking hot in a swimsuit, having shown her racier side in Sports Illustrated along with other publications and websites.

5. Leilani Mitchell

If she can play like she did in 2010 once again, she will attract more than just Derrick Rose.

4. Elena Delle Donne

Elena Delle Donne was a highly touted recruit out of Delaware, becoming the Chicago Sky’s number one draft choice and the 2013 WNBA Rookie of the Year. She is a two-time WNBA All-Star, and led all players in votes for the 2013 All-Star game as a rookie. Elena Delle Donne has just broken into the league, but has already received a fair share of attention. After seeing some of her pics, it is certainly easy to understand why.

3. Candace Parker

Candace Parker has done plenty to help advance the WNBA and women’s basketball. Her bright smile and rosy cheeks have made her one of the most photogenic faces of the league and women’s professional basketball, while her talent has made her even more legit. Parker was the first woman to dunk in an NCAA tournament game and followed that up by being the second woman to dunk in a WNBA game. She was not only the WNBA Rookie of the Year in 2008, but also the league’s MVP that same year. Parker has been a first team WNBA All-Star on three separate occasions and has been clutch in the playoffs as well, averaging 20.6 points and 9.8 rebounds per game in 21 postseason games. Erin Phillips might have created quite a stir by posing in the men’s magazine, Alpha, dressed in skimpy lingerie, but that only did wonders to help catapult her up this list. The Australian guard might not have made any WNBA All-Star teams throughout her career, but did help her teams win two WNBA championships. She won one with the Indiana Fever in 2012 and another with the Phoenix Mercury in 2014. She also helped Australia win the silver medal at the Bejiing Olympics in 2008, and a gold medal at the World Championships in 2006. Off the court in front of a camera is where Phillips really knows how to shine. She has a powerful body, blonde hair, and exotic eyes, that make a bold statement when she warms up to a camera’s lens.

1. Skylar Diggins

It might surprise some that Skylar Diggins tops this list, but her ability to sizzle on the cover of magazines and photo shoots is hard to top. She can look sassy, elegant and playful, having no fear or lack of confidence when she is the subject of a camera’s lens. Diggins is no stranger to appearing in Sports Illustrated and has been on the cover as well as in several other magazines, despite the fact that she only started her WNBA career in 2013. The former McDonald’s High School All-American starred at Notre Dame, where she became the school’s all-time leading scorer. Last season at Tulsa, she became an All-Star, while also earning the honors of being the WNBA’s Most Improved Player by averaging 20.1 points and 5.0 assists per game. She is an All-Star who has no problem being the star attraction at any photo shoot.
