Salam Stores launches Spring/Summer 2016 Collection in collaboration with Qatari designer Noor Abuissa
Salam Stores will be bringing the latest designer collections to Doha as part of its Spring/Summer 2016 (SS16) launch at the end of March. The start of the season will be marked by the unveiling of a museum-inspired installation and exhibition the “Fashion Dream House” at The Gate Mall on the evening of March 31, for which Salam Stores collaborated with Qatari designer Noor Abuissa.
Inspired by the SS16 season’s premier colours of rose quartz and light blue, the “Fashion Dream House” will feature various spaces from a house setting (living room, garden, bedroom). The exhibition will use clothing from the latest fashion collections and Noor’s art to bring to life everyday living scenes in a playful way through installations around the ground floor at The Gate Mall. The exhibition will be open to the public from March 31 through May 31 2016.
Helping guests incorporate new collection pieces into their own wardrobes, exclusive event media partner Grazia Arabia will be on site at the public launch event and exhibition unveiling on 31st March between 7:00pm and 9:00pm to offer styling tips to attendees. During the event, guests will also be treated manicures using colours inspired by the collection, provided by Diva Lounge Spa, enjoy a selection of canapes from Eatopia and special pastel makeup applications by official beauty sponsor Lancôme, as well as be greeted by live music from the renowned Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra.
