3 killed in rain-related accidents in UAE
Three people were killed and several injured Monday in a spate of traffic accidents reported in Abu Dhabi and Dubai following rain.
In Dubai, a man was killed and two injured when a bus carrying three people swerved on Mohammad Bin Zayed Road under Al Nahda Street bridge and hit a vehicle parked on the hard shoulder.
In another incident, a man was killed and another injured in a run-over accident on Shaikh Zayed Road. They were standing outside their vehicle following an accident.
In a third accident, an Emirati man was seriously injured in a three-car accident on the Dubai-Al Ain Road.
