US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said on Saturday that the risk of escalation between Israel and Lebanon is great.
Regarding the recent Israeli strikes on Lebanon, Sullivan commented: “It is a good result that people are being brought to justice.”
Sullivan, who was speaking to reporters in Wilmington, Delaware, USA, also said that he still sees a way to stop the fire in Gaza, but the United States “has not yet reached a stage where we are ready to put something on the table.”
