A Sri Lankan expatriate has been sentenced to ten years in prison and fined QR200,000 for dealing in drugs.
He has also been ordered to be deported from the country on serving his jail term.
The man was arrested as he was trying to sell marijuana worth QR1500 to an undercover officer.
Anti-narcotics officers then conducted a raid of his house and confiscated money and a quantity of cannabis.
