1. HEALTH AND SAFETY MANAGER
THE ROLE
• Fulfilling a management role of HSE Advisors and an advisory role to site management teams, providing leadership and mentoring of the HSE team members
• To actively pursue international best practice and encourage Service Providers to implement and maintain safe working environments that meet or exceed the clients expectations
• To review, assess and approve contractors Safety Manuals, procedure’s and work method statements. To lead and document all Safety Audits, required by both Local Authorities and Project’s Safety System and co-ordinate the preparation of the H&S monthly reports for all FM contracts
• Conduct hazard and risk assessments and change existing, or develop new recommendations from these assessments to the client
o Carry out record, document and issue daily, weekly & monthly, site safety inspections, audits and reports
• Assist project team in investigation of all project accidents and dangerous occurrences incidents
• Devise, supervise, and coordinate training programs or media which will increase proficiency in safe practices and promote HSE consciousness and prepare and issue Safety Bulletins, Violation Notices and Construction related Safety Training Courses
• Assist in investigation, preparation and documentation Safety Manuals, Policies and
Procedures
• HSSE Coordinator will spend a significant amount of time on site observing conditions and Service Providers activities to ensure that all environmental management plan commitments are met, especially with regard to sensitive environmental issues such as dust control, marine areas, site cleanliness, vehicle maintenance facilities, and fuel storage facilities etc
Salary approx QR20,000 per month
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Environmental Management/Health & Safety
• Safety Practitioner certification from an internationally recognized safety institute NEBOSH Diploma
• Minimum 8 years working experience in Environment, Health and Safety in building operations, etc.
• Good knowledge of local health and safety governing rules, control measures and fire safety management
• Interpersonal, initiative, analytical thinking, decision-making and leadership abilities
• Ability to conduct formal Safety risk assessments, and producing comprehensive reports.
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Good presentation skill
• Computer literacy (e.g. MS Office, Powerpoint, Excel, etc)
• Good knowledge of quality standards like ISO 9002, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001

2. ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER (INFRASTRUCTURE)
THE ROLE:
The Environmental Engineer is responsible for managing the environmental interfaces with the Client and the various Contractors on site, and for ensuring compliance of all construction activities with the Overall Construction Environmental Management Plan (OCEMP).
The Environmental Engineer will spend a significant amount of time on site observing conditions and Contractor activities to ensure that CEMP commitments are met, especially with regard to sensitive environmental issues.
Specific Responsibilities:
• Function as an Environmental Engineer on medium to large projects, assuming responsibility for the work of the project team.
• Ensure environmental compliance of design and construction with all applicable environmental standards and regulations.
• Conduct on-site training of environmental related topics.
• Review the environmental permits, renewals.
• Maintain the contractor’s key performance indicators.
• Conduct environmental surveys, studies, site investigations.
• Provide technical consultations for interdisciplinary studies and analyses.
• Complete other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Degree in Environmental Engineering with 6-8 years experience in an engineering / consulting environment on environmental engineering projects.
• Must be well versed in Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Qatar Environmental Permitting, Regulations / Processes, environmental requirements related to construction activities, Environmental Management Plans etc.
• Should have experience in design and construction of infrastructure related projects.
• Should be familiar with environmental permitting process during construction activities.
• Skills to communicate with client representatives, deal with agencies and others engineering teams on the project.
Skills/Competencies:
• Thorough knowledge of local and international regulations, standards and procedures related to environmental management, protection and sustainability are also required.
• In addition, must be knowledgeable of current technology and how it can be effectively utilized on the project and the ability to use strong presentation skills to influence internal and external teams directly involved with his team.

3. CAD OPERATOR – INFRASTRUCTURE
THE ROLE:
Performs design/drafting assignments requiring a working knowledge of design/drafting standards, practices, and techniques. Under the general direction of higher-level engineers, the incumbent at this level typically takes engineering notes, specifications, rough sketches, etc., and formalizes them into working drawings. Assignments are designed to develop a practical knowledge of equipment, facilities, and systems, and their interrelationships within a particular engineering discipline.
Key Accountabilities:
• Supports the engineering staff by providing quality drafting support using the approved software.
• Provide final preliminary and concept drawings from sketches that may be used in the scoping document and tender packages for the acquisition of design, specialty, and construction contractors.
• Supports the construction team in developing sketches and other documents as required.
• Maintains drawing registries for all drawings by design consultants, contractors, the Project Management Team and the developers.
• Compiles data and performs dimensional and routine calculations required for the preparation of drawings.
• Supports the engineers in completing all drawings sketches, etc. and formalizes them into working drawings.
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
REQUIREMENTS
• Degree in CAD or relevant engineering subject with full knowledge of the latest CAD systems
• 5 years of relevant experience with CAD operation systems and the latest versions of AutoCAD, MicroStation and other software applications performing services for infrastructure projects.
• Additional technical training and certification in drafting design desired.
• Proven ability to perform in a technical role as a CAD operator.

4. RESIDENT ENGINEERS – ROADS/UTILITIES/DRAINAGE/ITS/LANDSCAPE/STRUCTURES
THE ROLE
We are searching for Resident Engineers for six different works/services for our infrastructure project in Qatar:
Resident Engineer – Structures:
– Provides specialist services in support of project requirements
– Be part of the Supervision Team, reporting directly to the Senior Engineers and PM
– Independently performs high complex professional assignments
– Attend all the Structural work activities
Resident Engineer – Drainage Works:
– Attend the construction supervision of the drainage works for Road and Drainage Infrastructures, reporting directly to the Senior Resident Engineer.
The resource will take under his own competency the following issues:
– Foul, Storm Water/Ground Water
– TSE, M&E, ICA, SCADA
– Process and Treatment
Resident Engineer – ITS:
– Plans, organizes, and ensures adequate staffing, execution, and monitoring of all field engineering activities and related support operations
– Provides guidance regarding scope of work, schedules, procedures, field construction problems, and other technical information. Determines staffing requirements for the defined scope and schedule
– Providing specialized services in support of project requirements
– Being part of the Supervision Team, reporting directly to the Senior Resident Engineer
– Attend all the ITS activities and Duties
– According with the supervision Team requirements, create and improve all the ITS Supports and issues
Resident Engineer – Landscape Works:
– Attend kick-off meetings and subsequent progress meetings with contractors and produce and distribute minutes of meetings
– Identify and resolve problem areas, particularly those that are likely to give rise to claims
– Provides specialist services in support of project requirements
– Be part of the Supervision Team, reporting directly to the Senior Engineers and PM
– Independently performs high complex professional assignments
– Attend all the Landscape works activities
Resident Engineer – Road Works:
– Provides specialist services in support of project requirements
– Be part of the Supervision Team, reporting directly to the Senior Engineers and PM
– Independently performs high complex professional assignments
Resident Engineer – Utilities Works:
– Provides specialist services in support of project requirements
– Be part of the Supervision Team, reporting directly to the Senior Engineers and PM
– Independently performs high complex professional assignments
REQUIREMENTS
– Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
– High experience in related discipline of works for Supervision of Roads and Drainage Projects
– At least 14 years of post bachelor’s working experience
– At least 7 years of professional experience as Resident Engineer
– Previous Professional Experience in Gulf Countries
