Figures published by the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority today, Thursday, showed an increase in the number of passengers traveling through Hamad International Airport during the month of May.
And she said, through her account on Twitter, that for the first time after the Corona pandemic (Covid-19), the number of passengers at Hamad International Airport exceeds the numbers recorded before the pandemic, as preliminary air transport data indicate an increase in the number of passengers through Hamad International Airport by 17,400 passengers in May 2022 compared to the number recorded before the Corona pandemic (Covid-19) in the same month in 2019, bringing the number to more than 2.8 million passengers.
The General Authority for Civil Aviation added that this is a clear indication of the gradual recovery of the civil aviation industry in the State of Qatar and the world after recovering from the Corona pandemic.
