My GYM Qatar, Ezdan Mall and Friends of Nature promote physical activities

DOHA: My GYM Qatar has launched collaboration with Friends of Nature and Ezdan Mall, Al Gharafa, to promote physical activities as part of Sports and Environment.
On Friday, Friends of Nature welcomed My Gym Children’s Fitness Center and their Manager Ilham Afiouni, to educate little visitors of Ezdan Mall, on the benefits of physical activity in a healthy environment.
The children’s fitness center is an American franchise designed with the collaboration of doctors, psychologists, physiotherapists, and many other professionals who work on fitness programs according to different ages levels.
Once or twice a month, Friends of Nature invites different organisations to help educate the community and increase environmental awareness. These organizations get to conduct fun educational activities about what they do and how it benefits the community or the environment.
“We would like to see more local businesses, Ministries, institutes, and other organisation join us in our vision because an educated community is a community that prospers,” said Fatma Hassan, Program/Event Coordinator at Friends of Nature.
“My Gym Qatar has two branches which are My Gym Children’s Fitness Center and Contours Express Women’s Gym. Friends of Nature gave us this wonderful opportunity to present some of our activities for the kids, and represent our selves. For us, the kids are very important because they are the future, and in order to have a healthy life it is very important to do physical activity,” said Alicia Astasio, Assistant Manager and Ballet Instructor at My Gym Qatar.
“We think the combination of nature and good environment makes it easier and more enjoyable. It’s wonderful to see these initiatives in a mall, and we are very happy to be here at Ezdan Mall and to experience their #GreenDream campaign. The kids are having a wonderful time.”
My Gym Children’s Fitness Center provides children with different classes where they can develop their skills physically and psychologically. They have a child-friendly equipped gym with all the necessities and offer independent classes with the parent’s participation as well as independent one-on-one classes with the trainers.
“Having this event from Friends of Nature with My Gym Qatar is really great, and we are pleased to have them here at the Ezdan Mall. This event really helps a lot of kids bringing happiness and joy and encourages positive fitness. It’s something for kids where they can play and meet other kids,” said Leonard Albort, Guest Relation Representative at the Ezdan Mall, Al Gharafa.
