PM for strengthening partnership between govt, private sector

Doha – Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al Thani on Wednesday stressed the need to stimulate and support the private sector to contribute effectively to the economy of the country.

Addressing members of the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry (QCCI) and Qatari Businessmen Association (QBA), he referred to the Emir’s directives to the government to support and strengthen its partnership with the private sector, facilitate all procedures to enable businesses to operate effectively, and provide better services to citizens and residents.

Sheikh Abdullah lauded the role of Qatari businessmen and their efforts for the growth of the national economy, stressing the government’s resolve to make the economy to grow and compete at the regional and international levels.
