Swedish juniors to world ice hockey semifinals
In Montreal Friday, Sweden’s junior national ice hockey team Juniorkronorna won their quarterfinal match in the World Junior Championships, defeating Finland 6-3.
The Swedes came back after falling behind 1-0 in the first period.
In the semifinals the Juniorkronorna will face Russia, who narrowly knocked out the United States 3-2. In the other semifinal match Canada will play Slovakia.
