Al khaliji joins efforts with HMC for blood donation
Doha, Qatar – April 2016: Al Khalij Commercial Bank (al khaliji) P.Q.S.C. in association with Hamad Medical Corporation the “Blood Donor Center” recently organized blood donation campaign, which took place at Umm Lukhba branch close to Landmark mall
The initiative under the slogan “Make Every Drop Count” came as part of al khaliji’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, with an aim to contribute to a healthy community and sponsor activities in all fields, especially those of health, education, the environment, sport, and culture.
The bank has previously organized similar blood donation campaigns, the latest of which had taken place in mid-2015 to support the ‘World Blood Donor Day’, which was launched by the World Health Organization (WHO) under the theme ‘Safe blood for saving mothers’.
