Doha, November 11 (QNA) – HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani held via telephone a conversation with President-elect of the United States Donald Trump congratulating the latter on winning the elections.
HH the Emir expressed his best wishes for Trump and for bilateral relations and cooperation to develop further during his term to benefit the people of both countries.
HH the Emir also stressed the importance of enhancing joint work to achieve stability and security in the region.
For his part, the President-elect expressed his thanks to HH the Emir and stressed his keenness on enhancing strategic relations between the two countries. (QNA)
