Celebrating 50 years of excellence
Founded in 1967 in the UK, ACS International Schools now educate over 3,700 students from more than 100 countries. The schools 3 in Greater London and 1 in Qatar are all non-sectarian and co-educational.
ACS Doha International School opened in 2011 to meet the needs of both local and international families in the state of Qatar. Today the school enrolls over 900 students from 70 nationalities aged 3¬ to 18 years (Pre-K to Grade 12), and celebrated its second graduating year group, with students going on to attend university in the Middle East, UK, and US.
ACS Doha International School offers a globally-recognised international and American curriculum. In Early Childhood, it follows the Early Years Foundation Stage for Pre-K to Kindergarten, and in Lower School, it follows the *International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IBPYP) for Grades 1-5 . The school also offers the prestigious International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (IBMYP) for Grades 6¬-10, and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) for Grades 11¬-12. In High School for Grades 9-12 students can also choose an American High School Diploma.
ACS Doha International School is an IB World School accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), with memberships in the Council for International Schools (CIS), and the Near East South Asia Council of Overseas Schools (NESA), as well as being licensed by the Ministry of Education in Qatar.
