With the Emir HH Sheikh Tamim Al Thani set to travel to Pakistan in a few days’ time for a hunting trip, a shocking news has just come to light. As many as 16 members of the entourage of the Emir HH Sheikh Tamim have been arrested by the Balochistan Levies (a paramilitary force) in Quetta city of Pakistan, Pakistani newspaper DAWN reported.

The members of the Royal entourage have reportedly been arrested for breaking the barrier of a checkpoint in the Galngoor area of Noshki district yesterday.

Sources privy to the development have said that an advance party of the Emir HH Sheikh Tamim Al Thani was headed to Mashkeel for making arrangements for a hunting trip when it disregarded a signal from the Levies, which had asked them to stop at the checking post, however, the entourage reportedly did not stop and instead tried to escape by breaking the barrier. Following the Levies force chased the entourage and detained 16 people who were travelling in a set of four vehicles, Dawn report says.
