Let’s reach out to those in need: Every religion and leader emphasizes on certain values like charity. However, when giving charity, the toughest part would be finding a suitable institution or an apt person that you can help.
The following are a few institutions in Qatar that deserve some form of help.
1- QAWS
In the past, there have been quite a lot of displeasure from many people about how animals have been treated in Qatar. The Qatar Animal Welfare Society was founded in 2003 and since then has been bringing in animals of all kinds under their protective wing.
2- Shafallah Center for Children with Special Needs
This organization solely dedicates itself to provide education for the differently abled children. Opened in 1999, this organization gives care and support for these children to mingle with the rest of the society.
3- Friends of the Environment Center (FEC)
Established in 1992, FEC is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that is dedicated to environmental protection and conservation.
4- Cats In Qatar (CIQ)
One animal that we see everywhere in Qatar would be cats. The CIQ, founded in 2010, helps and looks after abandoned and homeless cats or kittens in Qatar.
5- Reach Out To Asia (ROTA)
The idea to start this organization was conceived by the Emir of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. The main mission of ROTA is to extend assistance to Asia.
