West Bay Shuttle Services on Fare Basis Starting 1 April
Ministry of Transport & Communications introduced West Bay Shuttle services to ease the hassle of commuting, alleviate congestion & delay, and overcome parking challenges and boost PT ridership.
Taking effect on 1 April 2016, passengers using Karwasmartcard will be charged a flat fare of QAR 3 per trip every time they board a bus. Passengers who do not have a Karwasmartcard may purchase 24 hour limited disposable card from the driver for QAR 10. This card entitles the holder to board 2 buses within 24 hours for travel within Doha. Existing West Bay passengers who have Karwasmartcard but no credit stored on the card cab recharge at a variety of outlets throughout Doha.
The West Bay Shuttle operates from 6 am to 9 pm daily, every 12 minutes.
