On this occasion, the Minister emphasised the unique relations between Qatar and Oman thanks to the wise directives from Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and H M Sultan Qaboos of Oman in the service of mutual interests of the two brotherly nations. He said the two leaders are very keen to develop relations in all fields. The MoU builds up a close cooperation between Mwani Qatar and ASYAD for developing business in marine transport and seaports between Qatar and Oman, contributing to enhancing Hamad Port’s contribution to the national economy, thus supporting the Ministry’s plans toward achieving the goals of the Qatar National Vision 2030, added the Minister.
Al Khanji welcomed the signing of the MoU with ASYAD and said such a cooperation would “contribute to achieving Mwani Qatar’s objectives and plans that aim to boost its position locally and establish its presence regionally and globally as a leading company in the field of providing integrated seaport and logistic services.”
