According to new survey has pointed out, there has been a marked decrease in the emotional connection Qataris feel with the Gulf Cooperation Council states (GCC countries are Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman) in the post-blockade period, reported Qatar Tribune.

Chief of Policy Department at the Institute for Social and Economic Research, Majid al Ansari says, “In December 2010, 66% of citizens said they felt extremely attachment with GCC nations. In November 2017, this figure dropped to 21%,” reported Qatar Tribune.
