H H the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received a phone call this evening from His Excellency Mr. Antonio Guterres, Secretary-General of the United Nations.
The Amiri Diwan stated – on its official account on Twitter – that at the beginning of the call, His Excellency the Secretary-General congratulated His Highness the Emir on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan, and also expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Amir for Qatar’s support for humanitarian work in Palestine, specifically in Gaza.
During the call, aspects of cooperation between the State of Qatar and the international organization were also reviewed, in addition to discussing the latest developments on the regional and international arena.
