The Qatar Stock Exchange index started today’s trading in the green zone, to gain 23.38 points, with a growth rate of 0.23 percent, to rise to the level of 10235 points, compared to last Thursday’s closing, supported by 6 sectors.
Figures issued by the Qatar Stock Exchange attributed the positive performance of the general index to the rise in the insurance sector by 2.75 percent, the communications sector by 1.95 percent, the real estate sector by 0.86 percent, the banking and financial services sector by 0.18 percent, the transport sector by 0.08 percent, and the industrial sector by 0.01 percent. On the other hand, the consumer goods and services sector decreased by 0.06 percent.
