The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in Iran announced targeting the heart of the occupied Palestinian territories with dozens of missiles, in response to the assassination of the martyrs, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the official in charge of the Lebanon file in the Quds Force of the Revolutionary Guard, Major General Abbas Nilforoushan, and the head of the political bureau of the Hamas movement, Ismail Haniyeh.
The Guards confirmed that the operation took place after a period of self-restraint exercised by Iran in the face of the occupation’s violation of its sovereignty, through the assassination of the martyr Haniyeh, and in accordance with Iran’s right to defend itself.
