The Leader of the Islamic Revolution and Republic of Iran, Sayyed Ali Khamenei, stressed on Wednesday that the United States of America and some European countries represent the basis of problems, tensions and hostility in the region, adding, “They falsely talk about peace and stability in the region.”
During his meeting with a group of elites and outstanding scientific talents, at the Imam Khomeini Husseiniya in the Iranian capital, Tehran, Mr. Khamenei said, “If we get rid of the plots of these countries in the region, the wars and conflicts in the region will end once and for all.”

Mr. Khamenei stressed that “the countries of the region are capable of managing it in peace, and living in stability and prosperity,” hoping that “the Iranian people, in cooperation with the rest of the peoples of the region, will be able to confront the evil of the enemies.”
Regarding the martyrdom of Hezbollah Secretary-General, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the Leader of the Revolution and the Islamic Republic said in a tweet he posted on the social networking site “X”: “We are in a state of mourning these days, and I personally feel truly profound sadness, as losing Sayyed Nasrallah is not an easy matter,” adding that “losing Sayyed Nasrallah has put us in a painful state of mourning.”
