Calling for urgent action.. Hamdan: The “Generals’ Plan” for Northern Gaza is Doomed to Fail
Hamas leader Osama Hamdan calls on Muslims and Arabs to take immediate action to save Gaza and the plans to displace its residents. He stresses that what is known as the “generals’ plan” in the northern Gaza Strip is doomed to fail in the face of the steadfastness of the Palestinian people there.

Hamas leader Osama Hamdan called on all Muslims and Arabs, including countries, organizations, bodies and movements, headed by the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, to “take immediate and urgent action by all means to exert all pressure and influence to stop the Zionist occupation’s aggression in killing and displacing” the residents of Gaza, especially in the northern part of the Strip, where the horrific Israeli massacre against civilians continues for the 11th day as part of what has become known as the “generals’ plan.”
Hamdan, during a press conference held on Tuesday evening, in line with the developments of the Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip, especially what is happening in the northern part of the Strip, called on “leaders of opinion and scholars in our nation to work hard to activate the role of the nation and its movement in confronting the Zionist aggression and American support for this aggression.”
“What is happening today in the northern Gaza Strip, specifically in Jabalia and its camp, is a complete genocide,” he added, as the occupation forces are bombing homes over the heads of their residents, and striking civilian infrastructure including streets, residential neighborhoods, bakeries, hospitals, and water wells. In addition, there are dozens of bodies under the rubble, or thrown in the streets of Jabalia and its camp, and rescue crews are unable to retrieve them, or reach the injured and the besieged.
The Hamas leader said that the occupation’s massacres in the northern Gaza Strip “come in light of news and reports confirming that the occupation government has begun implementing what is called the ‘Generals’ Plan’ to separate the northern Gaza Strip and displace its residents,” explaining that all the facts on the ground confirm that “we are facing one of the dirtiest military plans known to modern history, devised by fascist generals, in flagrant violation and disregard for all international laws, charters and humanitarian norms.”
While Hamdan reiterated that “the generals’ plan is doomed to fail,” and that “all the attempts of the occupation government and its fascist army have been shattered, over the course of a whole year of genocide and criminality,” he stressed that the Hamas movement is continuing its efforts and Arab and Islamic contacts in order to “stop this massacre and support the steadfastness of our people.”

Hamdan called on the international community and the United Nations to overcome what he described as “the shackled American will, and to consider effective and clear measures” that impose decisions that protect civilians, stop the war of extermination, and confront the occupation’s plans in the northern Gaza Strip, noting that the international community and the United Nations’ disregard for what is happening in Gaza will constitute “an unprecedented setback in the values and foundations on which this system was built, and will once again reveal the inability and failure of the international community to put an end to the arrogance” of the occupation.
The Hamas leader held the US administration fully responsible for the massacres, crimes, and genocidal war in Gaza, the escalation of the siege, and the killing of civilians in the northern Gaza Strip, stressing that “the US positions that call daily for stopping this genocide, without practical translation and pressure on Netanyahu and his fascist government, have become one of the tools of this brutal war against our Palestinian people.”
Hamdan called on Arab and Islamic countries and their organizations to “take their role in supporting our people and backing their steadfastness, and to impose relief and bring in the necessary aid to all areas of the Strip, especially our people in the north,” and to strengthen the steadfastness of the people of Gaza in the face of Israeli plans that do not only target Palestine, but extend to all countries of the region.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced today, Tuesday, that the occupation committed 4 massacres against families in Gaza during the past 24 hours, resulting in 55 martyrs and 329 wounded arriving at hospitals.
In the northern Gaza Strip, civil defense crews recovered 69 martyrs during 11 days of the ongoing Israeli incursion, which began on October 5.
She said that there are still 24 people missing under the rubble of houses that medical teams were able to reach, while 94 wounded people were transferred to hospitals.
