Israeli officer killed, injuries reported in shooting in occupied Ashdod
Israeli media reported the killing of an Israeli officer and injuries in a shooting operation in occupied Ashdod, and Palestinian factions congratulated the operation.

An Israeli officer was killed and others were injured on Tuesday in a shooting attack at two locations in Ashdod, in occupied Palestine.
According to Israeli media, the shooting began in the “Nir Galim” area, and the perpetrator then moved to the “Yavne Junction” area on “Road No. 4” in Ashdod.
The Red Star of David admitted in a statement that 5 Israelis were injured in the operation, including the officer who was killed. The perpetrator of the shooting operation was killed by the occupation forces.
According to Israeli media, the Israeli police sent more forces to the “Nir Galim” area, near the city of Ashdod.
A few days ago, Rabbi Rafael Mordechai Fishhoff was killed , and was seriously injured, after he and 5 Israelis were injured in a stabbing attack carried out by Palestinian resistance fighter Ahmed Jabarin (36 years old), in Hadera, north of Tel Aviv.

Palestinian blessing for shooting operation
Hamas confirmed that “the shooting that took place near occupied Ashdod is a natural reaction to what the occupation is doing and confirms that the resistance’s strikes are continuing and escalating despite all the security measures.”
She said, “This operation and the previous operations deep inside the entity prove the resistance’s ability to hurt this Israeli enemy.”
The movement called for more painful operations in the heart of the entity, for more anger and unity behind the option of resistance, and for igniting all fronts of confrontation until the aggression stops and the occupation is defeated.
The Resistance Committees in Palestine blessed the heroic shooting operation east of the occupied city of Ashdod, which came in response to the crimes of the Israeli entity.
She added, “The Ashdod fedayeen operation is a new message to the Israeli public that the resistance has the great ability to target the strategic depth of the Zionist entity.”
The committees called on “all free Palestinian people to escalate the resistance and revolution, carry out heroic operations, and dispel the enemy’s illusions and failed bets, in revenge for the shedding of Palestinian and Lebanese blood.”
The Mujahideen Movement also said that the heroic Ashdod operation came as a natural response from the Palestinian people to the ongoing Israeli aggression against Palestine and Lebanon.
It also renewed its call to all the masses of the Palestinian people and all the mujahideen and resistance fighters everywhere to escalate the resistance work and uprising against the Israeli occupation.
