Syrian army denies rumours of withdrawal from Hama, confirms readiness to repel any potential terrorist attack
The Syrian army denies the news circulating about its withdrawal from Hama province, and considers this part of the misinformation campaign practiced by terrorists with the aim of intimidation and fear.

The Syrian Ministry of Defense denied the news circulating about the withdrawal of the Syrian army from Hama Governorate, noting that the military units are stationed in their positions in the northern and eastern countryside of the governorate.
The Syrian Defense Ministry said in a statement on Saturday that “the news published by terrorist organizations regarding the withdrawal of the Syrian army from Hama is not true.”
She added, “Our armed forces units are stationed in their positions in the northern and eastern countryside of Hama Governorate, and they are fully prepared to repel any potential terrorist attack.”
A statement was also issued by the General Command of the Syrian Army and Armed Forces calling for caution regarding rumours.

The General Command said, “Within the framework of the misleading media war waged by armed terrorist organizations, false news attributed to the General Command of the Army and Armed Forces was published on some social media platforms.”
The General Command of the Army and Armed Forces also confirmed that its armed forces are carrying out their national missions in confronting terrorist organizations in various regions.
She called on citizens not to believe the rumours and lies being spread regarding the situation on the ground, or affecting the military leadership, and to follow the news through national channels and official pages.
In the same context, a military source confirmed to the Syrian “SANA” agency that there is no truth to the news circulated by the pages and platforms affiliated with the armed terrorist organizations about their entry into the towns of the northern Hama countryside, including Al-Suqaylabiyah, Hayalin, Muhardah, Al-Lataminah, Halfaya, Taybat Al-Imam, Ma’an, Suran, Maar Shahour and the rest of the neighboring towns.
He pointed out that the armed forces have organized a reinforced defensive line, and are fully prepared, ready and in high morale to repel any possible attack.
