Storm winds expected to blow in over southern Sweden

Winds whipping at up to 22 meters per second are expected to hit Skåne on Friday, and those speeds are expected to climb on Saturday, and also hit Halland county.

The Swedish meteorological service has issued a series of weather warnings for Friday and Saturday, completely covering the bottom third of the map of Sweden, as well as the surrounding waters.

Skåne, Halland, Gotland, Öland, are expected to get storm-strength winds, and those areas are where the most severe weather warnings are in effect, mostly for Saturday, but also for Friday in Skåne.
