Doha: Al-Khor and Al-Thakhira Municipality will soon open the Al Qarma Beach Garden located east of Al-Khor city, which was established with the support of the Ras Laffan Industrial City Community Outreach Programme.
As per the signboard outside the new park, only women and children under the age of 10 will be allowed inside. The park will not allow barbeque, pets and playing football.
Spread out in an area of 8,000 meters, including 4,000 meters of greenery and 3,000 meters of clean beach, also have a plantation of Qorm (Avicennia) trees. The park has also been equipped with various games and beach has many umbrellas made of bamboo trees offering shade.
