Civil Defense controls fire at work site in Dafna/West Bay
A fire has broken out an an under-construction site between the Melia Doha and the Kempinski Doha hotels in Qatar’s business district.
According to witnesses, emergency responders are on the scene and roads in and around the area have been closed off. The smell of smoke has spread throughout the area.
About an hour after the fire broke out, the Ministry of Interior tweeted that it had been brought under control:
