Sweden knocked out of handball championships
Sweden were knocked out of the women’s European handball championships Friday night. They were beaten in the semi-final by Norway, 29 – 25, meaning the Swedish team has to fight it out for a bronze tomorrow.
The Norwegian team dominated the match, but Sweden kept clawing back, but in the end could not keep up with their Nordic neighbours, Swedish Radio’s sports department reports.
