Summer is officially here and most schools are closed for vacations, with few of them to shut in the coming week, resulting in no fun activities for the kids or teens to indulge in.
Luckily, there are schools and academies offering various activities for kids and teens through summer camps. Most of these are for children in the age group of 3 to 18 years. We have prepared a list of the few interesting ones in Qatar.
Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Sports Academy
Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Sports Academy offers taekwondo, kick boxing, lego robotics, football, tennis and swimming for children at its summer camp.

Engineering for Kids
Children at the Engineering for Kids camp will be introduced to engineering concepts through activities like building rockets, battling robots and even programming their own video games.
The prices vary from daily – QR250, weekly – QR1000 and monthly – QR 3600.

Molecular Doha
Molecular Doha will be providing children with educational and hands-on experience through exciting programmes which include science, engineering, coding and programming drones as well as fun sports activities.
The prices range from QR150 per day to QR650 per week.

Education City Summer Camp
Qatar Foundation’s Pre-University Education (PUE) along with the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy is organising a summer camp at Awsaj Academy. Along with a trip to Qatar National Library, children will get a chance to study seeds and plants through the ‘Young Farmers Program’; practical fun hands-on scientific experiments; horse-riding lessons at Al Shaqab; and a workshop on the benefits of teamwork delivered by the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy.

Crystals Summer Camp
An array of activities such as classical & western dance, classical music, yoga, sessions on keyboard, violin & guitar, drawing, art and crafts and karate is what this camp offers.

BK Sports
BK Sports will host a multi sports indoor camp with activities including football, basketball, swimming, martial arts, gymnastics, ballet, arts & crafts, LEGO education, obstacle course and more. The camp fee is QR500.

Absolute Kids
Summer camp at this sports academy includes training in badminton, martial arts, football, along with arts activities such as crafts, drawing and fun games. Qualified coaches from UEFA and Prakash Padukone Badminton Academy will be available for coaching the kids.
The price ranges from QR699 to QR1499.

Aspire Zone
Aspire Zone is hosting a summer camp for children with many interesting activities and courses.
The kids will enjoy various activities in Sports such as taekwondo, swimming, gymnastics, aerobics, and recreational games.
There will be health care courses, nutrition lectures and a training course for speaking French.
Camp will be held four days per week with a registration fee of QR1700.

First Fit Training
First Fit Training will host a multi-sport camp where children can take part in football, swimming, tennis, basketball, martial arts, obstacle races, dodgeball, ping-pong, squash, and other activities such as hip/hop, ballet, arts & craft.
