Those who recently visited were asked to return after Eid.

Health Insurance For Family Visit Visa
From 1 February 2023, all visitors to Qatar will be required to purchase health insurance. The MOPH website lists registered insurance companies where applicants can buy health insurance for QAR 50 per month
30 APRIL 2023 UPDATE:
The application for a visit visa now requires health insurance after approval (not during the application process). When your visa is approved, you will receive a message asking you to purchase insurance. The visa number can be entered while purchasing insurance and it will be updated in the system. Only after insurance has been purchased can the visa be printed.
Attestation Marriage Certificate
Most visit visa applications for spouses were approved without an attested marriage certificate until recently. Nowadays, many applicants are required to provide attested marriage certificates.
It is common for these certificates to be handwritten or issued by local/religious organizations (mosques, churches, temples, etc.), or when their authenticity cannot be verified. Check if your certificate has an official stamp and is in a standard acceptable format, otherwise, it needs to be attested.

Qatar Family Visit Visa Validity
Qatar Family Visit Visas are initially issued for a period of one month (30 days). The visitor can extend the visa for two more months (a total of 90 days) after entering Qatar and undergoing a medical test.
Earlier, relatives of the first degree (parents, mothers, sisters, spouses, and children) could have their visas extended for another five months, and relatives of second degree could have them extended for two more months. Currently, extensions can only be granted for 60 days. Whether longer extensions will be allowed again has not been officially announced.
30 APRIL 2023 UPDATE:
After the Eid holidays, those who went to Gharaffa MOI for a family visit visa extension are being allowed only 14 days (after the first 3 months). The health insurance needs to be renewed for one more month. 3 months extension (total 6 months) was allowed the week before Eid.
How long is Qatar Visa Approval?
The visa will be stamped with “visa valid until” when it is approved. The last date for entry into Qatar (not the last date for staying in Qatar). There is currently a 90-day waiting period from the date the visa is approved. After this date, visitors cannot use this visa.

Step 1: Log in to the Metrash2 app on your mobile device

Step 10: After a few days, you will receive an update
