Qatar s Non-Hydrocarbon Sector Accounts for Over Half of GDP
Doha, January 03 (QNA) – Qatar National Bank (QNB) Group’s economic analysis said that the non-hydrocarbon sector in Qatar continues to drive economic growth, pushing its share of GDP to over half (50.7%) in Q3 2014 for the first time from 49.0% in Q2 2014.
Real GDP growth accelerated to 6.0% in the year to Q3 2014 from 5.7% in the previous quarter, according to figures released by the Ministry of Development Planning and Statistics (MDPS), said QNB in a press release Saturday.
